Please
check your oil level in temporary intervalls- the difference
between minimum and maximum is only 0,5 litres. Use the
recommended oils Shell Helix and Castrol
RS
The
Klaus engine
lubrication parts, for example the oil filler or the oil tube
holder represent some experienced improvements and additions
needed for running the type IV engine in a bug:
Oil
filler - provides installation space for biger volume
silencers because of close to engine installation. The
filler neck is sealed against the filler tube with an O-ring
gasket.
Oil
tube holder - lasered steel sheet, zink plated. Easy mounting
in the chassis/body screwing section of the frame.
One
piece oilsump lowering - only one sealing surface. The
lowered soaking section stabilizes the oil pressure in sharp
bends and in other extreme situations.
Klaus
oil thermostat - will be mounted instead of the stock type
IV oil cooler. Gives a clean look to your engine
comapartement. The oil tube connections are placed
under the engine compartment lid, so the oil tubes will not
be visible.
Oil
cooler - good cooling performance, low flow resistance
and light.
Klaus
breather box - aluminum, brushed. The weldings are not
visible. Reduced oil consumption because of advanced labyrinth system in the inside.
