exhaust manifold

The Klaus silencer system consists of a pair of stainless steel manifolds with a stainless steel silencer, which is fixed by a screwed flanged joint.

Klaus silencer with manifold

The Klaus silencer allows the realisation of highest engine power outputs on a small installation space. Compact and elegant.

  • Compact designed shape combined with a big volume.

  • High grade finish in stainless steel.

  • The silencer doesn't disturb the cars original apearance.

  • Good fit and therefore comfortable assembling  – without bodyworks, fits even with bugs with plane rear apron of all production years.

  • Valve clearence adjusting without disassembling the muffler.

  • (picture shows silencer with non stock manifold diameter, everything else as stock version) .

  • The exhaust fumes are ducted from every cylinder into the silencer by manifold tubes featuring equal lengths .

  • The manifolds are available in different lengths, which give the possibility of fine tuning of especially your engine.

  • (picture shows silencer and manifolds with non stock manifold diameter, everything else as stock version)

  • Easy to tune on engines with different camshafts, no  strongly pronounced resonances, which will be recognized by torque break ins.

  • Power output up to 160 kW possible.

  • The silencer produces a dampend sound, switching under high load into a biting sound, which is typical for Klaus mufflers.
