-EVOLUTION

The cylinder head prototype shown is used for test concerning the cooling performance, manifold and combustion chamber shape. The further target of this developement is the casting of high performance cylinder heads made of a a high temperature resistent aluminum alloy with optimized cooling combined with a low cylinder head weight.

Following items had highest priority in the specification sheet of the first development:

  • keeping the stock cylinder heads

  • excelent road performance even at low rpm

  • high speed enduring

  • smooth idle running at low rotations

  • no expensive special parts, which can be sensitive for breaking

  • acceptable noise level
